In order to alleviate the world energy resources crisis, the research and development of natural gas hydrates has a very important economic value and strategic significance. The CH4-CO2 replacement method can not only achieve geological storage of carbon dioxide but also more effectively mine natural gas hydrates. Based on molecular dynamics theory and the properties of natural gas hydrates, this paper delves into the replacement of methane hydrate with carbon dioxide under different temperatures, pressures, and concentrations of ethylene glycol (EG). We established a CO2-Hydrate model and three CO2/EG-Hydrate models with different concentrations of EG, and we simulated the radial distribution function (RDF), mean square displacement (MSD), and relative density distribution of each particle in the system in different conditions. The higher the temperature, the more unstable the methane hydrates are, and the methane hydrates are more prone to decomposition. Compared with 280 and 290 K, the temperature of 270 K is more favorable for carbon dioxide molecules to enter the hydrate layer and form carbon dioxide hydrates. The changes in pressure have little impact on the decomposition of methane hydrates, the rupture of water cages of methane hydrates, and the number of carbon dioxide molecules entering the hydrate layer under temperatures of 280 K and pressures of 1, 4, and 7 MPa. But overall, a pressure of 1 MPa is more conducive for carbon dioxide molecules to enter the hydrate layer and form carbon dioxide hydrates. Adding EG to CO2 molecules can inhibit the decomposition of methane hydrates. However, the higher the concentration of EG, the faster the decomposition of methane hydrates. The degree of fracture of the water cages in methane hydrates is greater under pure CO2 conditions. Adding EG to CO2 molecules is more conducive for CO2 molecules to enter the hydrate layer and form carbon dioxide hydrates. This review is of great significance to improve the mining efficiency and CO2 storage efficiency of the replacement of natural gas hydrates with CO2.

The susceptibility of lysosomal membranes in tumor cells to cationic amphiphilic drugs (CADs) enables CADs to induce lysosomal membrane permeabilization (LMP) and trigger lysosome-dependent cell death (LDCD), suggesting a potential antitumor therapeutic approach. However, the existence of intrinsic lysosomal damage response mechanisms limits the display of the pharmacological activity of CADs. In this study, we report that low concentrations of QS-21, a saponin with cationic amphiphilicity extracted from Quillaja Saponaria tree, can induce LMP but has nontoxicity to tumor cells. QS-21 and MAP30, a type I ribosome-inactivating protein, synergistically induce apoptosis in tumor cells at low concentrations of both. Mechanistically, QS-21-induced LMP helps MAP30 escape from endosomes or lysosomes and subsequently enter the endoplasmic reticulum, where MAP30 downregulates the expression of autophagy-associated LC3 proteins, thereby inhibiting lysophagy. The inhibition of lysophagy results in the impaired clearance of damaged lysosomes, leading to the leakage of massive lysosomal contents such as cathepsins into the cytoplasm, ultimately triggering LDCD. In summary, our study showed that coadministration of QS-21 and MAP30 amplified the lysosomal disruption and can be a new synergistic LDCD-based antitumor therapy.

BACKGROUND: Clear cell likelihood score (ccLS) is reliable for diagnosing small renal masses (SRMs). However, the diagnostic value of Clear cell likelihood score version 1.0 (ccLS v1.0) and v2.0 for common subtypes of SRMs might be a potential score extension. PURPOSE: To compare the diagnostic performance and interobserver agreement of ccLS v1.0 and v2.0 for characterizing five common subtypes of SRMs. STUDY TYPE: Retrospective. POPULATION: 797 patients (563 males, 234 females; mean age, 53 ± 12 years) with 867 histologically proven renal masses. FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCES: 3.0 and 1.5 T/T2 weighted imaging, T1 weighted imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging, a dual-echo chemical shift (in- and opposed-phase) T1 weighted imaging, multiphase dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging. ASSESSMENT: Six abdominal radiologists were trained in the ccLS algorithm and independently scored each SRM using ccLS v1.0 and v2.0, respectively. All SRMs had definite pathological results. The pooled area under curve (AUC), accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity were calculated to evaluate the diagnostic performance of ccLS v1.0 and v2.0 for characterizing common subtypes of SRMs. The average κ values were calculated to evaluate the interobserver agreement of the two scoring versions. STATISTICAL TESTS: Random-effects logistic regression; Receiver operating characteristic analysis; DeLong test; Weighted Kappa test; Z test. The statistical significance level was P < 0.05. RESULTS: The pooled AUCs of clear cell likelihood score version 2.0 (ccLS v2.0) were statistically superior to those of ccLS v1.0 for diagnosing clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) (0.907 vs. 0.851), papillary renal cell carcinoma (pRCC) (0.926 vs. 0.888), renal oncocytoma (RO) (0.745 vs. 0.679), and angiomyolipoma without visible fat (AMLwvf) (0.826 vs. 0.766). Interobserver agreement for SRMs between ccLS v1.0 and v2.0 is comparable and was not statistically significant (P = 0.993). CONCLUSION: The diagnostic performance of ccLS v2.0 surpasses that of ccLS v1.0 for characterizing ccRCC, pRCC, RO, and AMLwvf. Especially, the standardized algorithm has optimal performance for ccRCC and pRCC. ccLS has potential as a supportive clinical tool. EVIDENCE LEVEL: 4. TECHNICAL EFFICACY: Stage 2.

A rheo-microscopy in situ synchronous measurement system was utilized to investigate the dynamic behavior of water droplets in W/O waxy crude oil emulsions subjected to dynamic cooling conditions, the microstructural evolution of water droplets aggregates can be categorized into three stages based on the various forms of wax crystals. The results show that under the joint action of wax crystals and water droplets, the water droplets aggregation trend and complexity in the system are negatively correlated with the changes of temperature and shear rate, and the water droplets movement behavior is positively correlated with the changes of temperature and shear rate. As the temperature decreases, the minimum edge distance of water droplets decreases by a maximum of 32.1%, the specific surface area (SA) decreases by a maximum of 12.0%, and the fractal dimension increases by a maximum of 11.7%. As the shear rate increases, the minimum edge distance of water droplets increases by up to 27.9%, the specific surface area (SA) increases by up to 10.1%, and the fractal dimension decreases by up to 8.5%. Additionally, an analysis is conducted on the collision aggregation behavior of water droplets in shear flow field based on population balance theory.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is the critical factor of early warning, monitoring, and prognosis in the inflammatory storm of COVID-19 cases. IL-6 inducing peptides, which can induce cytokine IL-6 production, are very important for the development of diagnosis and immunotherapy. Although the existing methods have some success in predicting IL-6 inducing peptides, there is still room for improvement in the performance of these models in practical application. METHODS: In this study, we proposed UsIL-6, a high-performance bioinformatics tool for identifying IL-6 inducing peptides. First, we extracted five groups of physicochemical properties and sequence structural information from IL-6 inducing peptide sequences, and obtained a 636-dimensional feature vector, we also employed NearMiss3 undersampling method and normalization method StandardScaler to process the data. Then, a 40-dimensional optimal feature vector was obtained by Boruta feature selection method. Finally, we combined this feature vector with extreme randomization tree classifier to build the final model UsIL-6. RESULTS: The AUC value of UsIL-6 on the independent test dataset was 0.87, and the BACC value was 0.808, which indicated that UsIL-6 had better performance than the existing methods in IL-6 inducing peptide recognition. CONCLUSIONS: The performance comparison on independent test dataset confirmed that UsIL-6 could achieve the highest performance, best robustness, and most excellent generalization ability. We hope that UsIL-6 will become a valuable method to identify, annotate and characterize new IL-6 inducing peptides.

Rab27A is a small GTPase-mediating exosome secretion, which participates in tumorigenesis of multiple cancer types. Understanding the biological role of Rab27A in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is of great importance for oncological research and clinical treatment. In this study, we investigate the function and internal mechanism of Rab27A in NSCLC. Results show that Rab27A is overexpressed in NSCLC, and regulates the tumor proliferation, migration, invasion, and cell motility in vitro and in vivo, and is negatively regulated by miR-124. Further research reveals that upregulated Rab27A can induce the production of IFNα in the medium by mediating exosome secretion. Then IFNα activates TYK2/STAT/HSPA5 signaling to promote NSCLC cell proliferation and metastasis. This process can be suppressed by TYK2 inhibitor Cerdulatinib. These results suggest that Rab27A is involved in the pathogenesis of NSCLC by regulating exosome secretion and downstream signaling, and inhibitors targeting this axis may become a promising strategy in future clinical practice.

Therapeutic options for large or locally advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) have limited efficacy. This study investigated the efficacy and safety of drug-eluting beads trans-arterial chemo-embolization (dTACE), portal vein embolization (PVE), tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) compared to Associating Liver Partition and Portal vein ligation for Staged hepatectomy (ALPPS) for large or locally advanced HCC.Data regarding clinicopathological details, safety, and oncological outcomes were reviewed for the quadruple therapy (dTACE-PVE-TKI-ICI) and compared with ALPPS.From 2019 to 2020, 10 patients with large or locally advanced HCC underwent future remnant liver (FRL) modulation (dTACE-PVE-TKI-ICI: 5; ALPPS: 5). All five dTACE-PVE-TKI-ICI cases responded well, with patients #4 and #5 achieving complete tumor necrosis. The overall response rate (ORR) was 5/5. Patients #1-4 underwent hepatectomy, while #5 declined surgery due to complete tumor necrosis. Mean FRL volume increased by 75.3% (range 60.0%-89.4%) in 2-4 months, compared to 104.6% (range 51.3%-160.8%) in 21-37 days for ALPPS (P = 0.032). Major postoperative complications occurred in 1/5 ALPPS patients. Resection rates were 4/4 for quadruple therapy and 5/5 for ALPPS. 2-year progression free survival for dTACE-PVE-TKI-ICI and ALPPS were 5/5 and 3/5, respectively.Quadruple therapy is a feasible, effective strategy for enhancing resectability by downsizing tumors and inducing FRL hypertrophy, with manageable complications and improved long-term prognosis. In addition, it provokes the re-examination of the application of ALPPS in an era of molecular and immune treatments.

OBJECTIVE: To establish the finite element model of spinal canal reconstruction and internal fixation,analysis influence of spinal canal reconstruction and internal fixation on spinal stability,and verify the effectiveness and reliability of spinal canal reconstruction and internal fixation in spinal canal surgery. METHODS: A 30-year-old male healthy volunteer with a height of 172 cm and weight of 75 kg was selected and his lumbar CT data were collected to establish a finite element model of normal lumbar L3-L5,and the results were compared with in vitro solid results and published finite element analysis results to verify the validity of the model. They were divided into normal group,laminectomy group and spinal canal reconstruction group according to different treatment methods. Under the same boundary fixation and physiological load conditions,six kinds of activities were performed,including forward bending,backward extension,left bending,right bending,left rotation and right rotation,and the changes of range of motion (ROM) of L3-L4,L4-L5 segments and overall maximum ROM of L3-L5 were analyzed under the six conditions. RESULTS: The ROM displacement range of each segment of the constructed L3-L5 finite element model was consistent with the in vitro solid results and previous literature data,which confirms the validity of the model. In L3-L4,ROM of spinal canal reconstruction group was slightly increased than that of normal group during posterior extension(>5% difference),and ROM of other conditions was similar to that of normal group(<5% difference). ROM in laminectomy group was significantly increase than that in normal group and spinal canal reconstruction group under the condition of flexion,extension,left and right rotation. In L4-L5,ROM in spinal canal reconstruction group was similar to that in normal group(<5% difference),while ROM in laminectomy group was significantly higher than that in normal group and spinal canal reconstruction group(>5% difference). In the overall maximum ROM of L3-L5,spinal canal reconstruction group was only slightly higher than normal group under the condition of posterior extension(>5% difference),while laminectomy was significantly higher than normal group and spinal canal reconstruction group under the condition of anterior flexion,posterior extension,left and right rotation(>5% difference). The changes of each segment ROM and overall ROM of L3-L5 showed laminectomy group>spinal canal reconstruction group>normal group. CONCLUSION: Laminectomy could seriously affect biomechanical stability of the spine,but application of spinal canal reconstruction and internal fixation could effectively reduce ROM displacement of the responsible segment of spine and maintain its biomechanical stability.

Four new wood-inhabiting fungi were found in Southwestern China within the genera Phanerochaete, Phlebiopsis, Asterostroma, and Vararia of the families Phanerochaetaceae and Peniophoraceae, belonging to the orders Polyporales and Russulales individually. Combined with their morphological characteristics and molecular biological evidence, the present study describes them as new fungal taxa. Asterostroma yunnanense is characterized by the resupinate, membranaceous to pellicular basidiomata with a cream to salmon-buff hymenial surface, hyphal system dimitic bearing simple-septa, thin- to thick-walled, yellowish brown asterosetae with acute tips, and thin-walled, echinulate, amyloid, globose basidiospores. Phanerochaete tongbiguanensis is characterized by the resupinate basidiomata with a white to cream hymenial surface, a monomitic hyphal system with simple-septa generative hyphae, the presence of subclavate cystidia covered with a lot of crystals, and oblong ellipsoid basidiospores (6-9 × 3-4.5 µm). Phlebiopsis fissurata is characterized by the membranaceous, tuberculate basidiomata with a buff to slightly brown hymenial surface, a monomitic hyphal system with simple-septa, conical cystidia, and broadly ellipsoid. Vararia yingjiangensis is characterized by a corky basidiomata with a pinkish buff to cinnamon-buff hymenial surface, cracking, yellowish dichohyphae with slightly curved tips, subulate gloeocystidia, and thick-walled, ellipsoid basidiospores (6.5-11.5 × 5-7 µm). The phylogenetic analyses of ITS + nLSU revealed that the two new species were nested into the genera Phanerochaete and Phlebiopsis within the family Phanerochaetaceae (Polyporales), in which Phanerochaete tongbiguanensis was sister to P. daliensis; Phlebiopsis fissurata was grouped with P. lamprocystidiata. Two new species were clustered into the genera Asterostroma and Vararia within the family Peniophoraceae (Russulales), in which Asterostroma yunnanense was sister to A. cervicolor; Vararia yingjiangensis formed a single branch.

BACKGROUND: The effect of human 8-Oxoguanine DNA Glycosylase (hOGG1) on exogenous chemicals in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remain unclear. The study plans to determine hOGG1 expression levels in ESCC and possible interactions with known environmental risk factors in ESCC. MATERIAL AND METHODS: We analyzed levels of exposure to urinary nitrosamines in volunteers from high and low prevalence areas by GC-MS. And we performed the interaction between hOGG1 gene and nitrosamine disinfection by-products by analyzing hOGG1 gene expression in esophageal tissues. RESULTS: In ESCC, nitrosamine levels were significantly increased and hOGG1 mRNA expression levels were significantly decreased. There was a statistically significant interaction between reduced hOGG1 mRNA levels and non-tap drinking water sources in ESCC. The apparent indirect association between ESCC and NMEA indicated that 33.4% of the association between ESCC and NMEA was mediated by hOGG1. CONCLUSION: In populations which exposed to high levels of environmental pollutants NDMA, low expression of hOGG1 may promote the high incidence of esophageal cancer in Huai'an. hOGG1 may be a novel mediator in nitrosamine-induced esophageal tumorigenesis.

With the tertiary oil recovery in the oilfield, the content of aging oil emulsion with high water content and complex components has become more prevalent, so it is crucial for aging oil to break the emulsification. In this paper, the experimental laws of water content are explored under the conditions of different transducer input powers through the ultrasonic reforming of aging oil, and the microscopic topography, particle size, components, etc. of oil samples before and after the irradiation of ultrasound are characterized through the microscopic analysis, particle size analysis and component analysis and other ways. The results show that the oil samples achieve the effect of demulsification and dehydration in the presence of ultrasonic cavitation effect, with a maximum dehydration rate of 98.24 %, and that the dehydration rate follows an "M-type" trend with the increase of power. The results of microscopic and particle size analyses demonstrate that ultrasonic irradiation destabilizes the oil-water interfacial membrane, and causes droplets of different sizes to collide, agglomerate, and settle. It was also observed that the droplets of the emulsion system are more evenly distributed and the intervals are increased. Furthermore, we hypothesize that ultrasound may be less irreversible in demulsification and dehydration of aging oil.

AIMS: To evaluate the bilateral changes in the sub-basal nerve plexus of the cornea and ocular surface function after unilateral small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (tPRK) procedures. METHODS: 34 patients were enrolled in the study and underwent unilateral SMILE (21 of 34 patients) or unilateral tPRK (13 of 34 patients). Complete ophthalmic examinations, tear film function tests and Cochet-Bonnet esthesiometry were conducted to assess the effects of the surgeries on the corneal nerves and tear function. Morphological changes were assessed using in vivo confocal microscopy to evaluate the corneal sub-basal nerve plexus and dendritic cells. ELISA was used to measure the tear neuromediators. Clinical and morphological data at each follow-up point were compared with preoperative baseline values. RESULTS: All patients who underwent unilateral SMILE or tPRK procedures exhibited bilateral corneal nerve degenerative changes, decreased corneal sensitivity, worsening of dry eye symptoms and changes in bilateral tear neuromediators. In the SMILE group, bilateral corneal sensitivity was positively correlated with corneal nerve fibre length and negatively correlated with dendritic cell area. The dry eye severity was negatively correlated with corneal sensitivity. Tear levels of substance P and nerve growth factor were positively correlated with mean dendritic cell area and dry eye severity, but negatively correlated with corneal sensitivity. In the tPRK group, bilateral corneal sensitivity was positively correlated with corneal nerve fibre density. CONCLUSIONS: Unilateral refractive surgery may bilaterally affect the morphology and function of corneal nerves and ocular surface status postoperatively.

Photon-initiated photoacoustic streaming (PIPS) with an Er: YAG laser has been introduced in root canal treatment to improve irrigation and facilitate the removal of bacteria in the root canal system. This study aimed to compare the antibacterial effectiveness of two different root canal irrigation techniques, conventional needle irrigation (CNI) and PIPS, using 1% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), in the treatment of teeth with apical periodontitis. Sixty patients with a total of sixty teeth affected by apical periodontitis were included in this study. The teeth underwent root canal therapy, and after mechanical instrumentation, they were randomly assigned to two groups (n = 30) based on the final irrigation protocol: CNI or PIPS with 1% NaOCl. Bacterial suspensions in the root canals were evaluated using Adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) assay kit after mechanical instrumentation and after final irrigation. Then, a follow-up was conducted after 7 days. The results revealed that final irrigation significantly reduced ATP values in both the CNI and PIPS groups (P < 0.001). The ATP values after final irrigation was greater in the CNI group compared to the PIPS group (P < 0.001). After a 7-day follow-up, percussion tenderness and fistula were significantly resolved in both groups (P < 0.05). A multivariate linear regression model was used to identify the factors that influence post irrigation ATP values. The analysis demonstrated that pre-operative percussion tenderness (P = 0.006), the presence of a fistula (P < 0.001) and the method used in the final irrigation (P < 0.001) had a significant impact on the ATP value after final irrigation. These results indicate that employing PIPS with 1% NaOCl as the final irrigation protocol exhibited superior antibacterial effectiveness and has the potential to enhance clinical outcomes in the treatment of teeth afflicted with apical periodontitis.

DNA is a danger signal sensed by cGAS to engage signaling through STING to activate innate immune functions. The best-studied downstream responses to STING activation include expression of type I interferon and inflammatory genes, but STING also activates other pathways, including apoptosis. Here, we report that STING-dependent induction of apoptosis in macrophages occurs through the intrinsic mitochondrial pathway and is mediated via IRF3 but acts independently of gene transcription. By intersecting four mass spectrometry datasets, we identify SAM68 as crucial for the induction of apoptosis downstream of STING activation. SAM68 is essential for the full activation of apoptosis. Still, it is not required for STING-mediated activation of IFN expression or activation of NF-κB. Mechanistic studies reveal that protein trafficking is required and involves SAM68 recruitment to STING upon activation, with the two proteins associating at the Golgi or a post-Golgi compartment. Collectively, our work identifies SAM68 as a STING-interacting protein enabling induction of apoptosis through this DNA-activated innate immune pathway.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease associated with long non-coding RNAs and DNA methylation; however, the mechanisms underlying the role of lncRNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 1 (lncRNA SNHG1) and subsequent involvement of DNA methylation in AD development are not known. The aim of this study was to examine the regulatory mechanisms attributed to lncRNA SNHG1 gene utilizing 2 strains of senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 (SAMP8) model of AD and compared to senescence-accelerated mouse resistant (SAMR) considered a control. Both strains of the mouse were transfected with either blank virus, psLenti-U6-SNHG1(low gene expression) virus, and psLenti-pA-SNHG1(gene overexpression) virus via a single injection into the brains for 2 weeks. At 2 weeks mice were subjected to a Morris water maze to determine any behavioral effects followed by sacrifice to extract hippocampal tissue for Western blotting to measure protein expression of p-tau, DNMT1, DNMT3A, DNMT3B, TET1, and p-Akt. No marked alterations were noted in any parameters following blank virus transfection. In SAMP8 mice, a significant decrease was noted in protein expression of DNMT1, DNMT3A, DNMT3B, and p-Akt associated with rise in p-tau and TET1. Transfection with ps-Lenti-U6-SNHG1 alone in SAMR1 mice resulted in a significant rise in DNMTs and p-Akt and a fall in p-tau and TET1. Transfection of SAMP8 with ps-Lenti-U6-SNHG1 blocked effects on overexpression noted in this mouse strain. However, knockdown of lncRNA SNHG1 yielded the opposite results as found in SAMR1 mice. In conclusion, the knockdown of lncRNA SNHG1 enhanced DNA methylation through the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, thereby reducing the phosphorylation levels of tau in SAMP8 AD model mice with ameliorating brain damage attributed to p-tau accumulation with consequent neuroprotection.

Background: We aim to investigate the prevalence, patterns, risk factors, and outcomes of peritoneal metastases (PM) after curative laparoscopic hepatectomy (LH) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods: A multicenter cohort of 2,138 HCC patients who underwent curative LH from August 2010 to December 2016 from seven hospitals in China was retrospectively analyzed. The incidence of PM following LH was evaluated and compared with that in open hepatectomy (OH) after 1:1 propensity score matching (PSM). Results: PM prevalence was 5.1% (15/295) in the early period [2010-2013], 2.6% (47/1,843) in the later period [2014-2016], and 2.9% (62/2,138) in all LH patients, which was similar to 4.0% (59/1,490) in the OH patients. The recurrence patterns, timing, and treatment did not significantly vary between the LH and OH patients (P>0.05). Multivariate logistic regression revealed that tumor diameter >5 cm, non-anatomical resection, presence of microvascular invasion, and lesions <2 cm from major blood vessels were independent risk factors of PM after LH. Of the 62 cases with PM, 26 (41.9%) had PM only, 34 (54.9%) had intrahepatic recurrence (IHR) and PM, and 2 (3.2%) had synchronous extraperitoneal metastases (EPM). Patients with resectable PM had a 5-year overall survival (OS) of 65.0% compared to 9.0% for unresectable PM (P=0.001). Conclusions: The prevalence, patterns and independent risk factors of PM were identified for HCC patients after LH. LH was not associated with increased incidence of PM in HCC patients for experienced surgeons. Surgical re-excision of PM was associated with prolonged survival.

Cytisine (CTS) is a useful medicine for treating nervous disorders and smoking addiction, and exploring a convenient method to detect CTS is of great significance for long-term/home medication to avoid the risk of poisoning, but it is full of challenges. Here, a modified metal-organic framework sensor Tb@Zn-TDA-80 with dual emission centers was prepared using a post-modified luminescence center strategy. The obtained Tb@Zn-TDA-80 can serve as a CTS sensor with high sensitivity and selectivity. To achieve portable detection, Tb@Zn-TDA-80 was further fabricated as a membrane sensor, M-Tb@Zn-TDA-80, which displayed an obvious CTS-responsive color change by simply dropping a CTS solution onto its surface. Benefiting from this unique functionality, M-Tb@Zn-TDA-80 successfully realized the visual detection and quantitative monitoring of CTS in the range of 5.26-52.6 mM by simply scanning the color with a smartphone. The results of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and theoretical computation illustrated that the high sensing efficiency of Tb@Zn-TDA-80 for CTS was attributed to the N-H⋅⋅⋅π and π⋅⋅⋅π interactions between the ligand and CTS. And luminescence quenching may result from the intramolecular charge transfer. This study provides a convenient method for ensuring long-term medication safety at home.
